Meet the Model: Meaghan L

Tell us a bit about yourself?

 I’m from the island of Newfoundland on the East Coast of Canada. I studied Architectural Engineering Technology and worked on a construction site as a coordinator (hard hat and all) right before I left to travel the world as a model! 

Who (or what) inspired you to become a model?

I’m a 90s baby.... 90s supermodels!!!! 

What are your best beauty secrets?

Self care will always make you shine from the inside out! Spend time in places that make you feel most alive, and with people who only make you feel happy. Also I wash my hair only 1-2x per week max, and use a jade roller every morning 😜

What top 3 things are always in your bag? 

A nude lip liner, phone charger, and a makeup brush pre-loaded with a matte bronzer 

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?

Anywhere where I can wake up with the sun and have a dip in the ocean first thing in the morning 

Favourite Food?

 Italian (fancy way of admitting that it’s actually just pizza. Any pizza.) 

What do you do in your spare time? 

If I’m hanging round London on a sunny day, I like to get out and explore the different areas and check out all the lovely buildings, or hanging with my boyfriend. Grey days I’m either in a café with my laptop, or on the couch playing Nintendo.

If you could have any superpower in the world, what would it be?  

Teleporting! Quick afternoon trip to Newfoundland anyone?

Any tips for anyone getting into the industry?

Rejection will be a frequent feeling but you will become stronger each time, keep your dreams huge, and remember to thank those who believe in you along the way
