It's not every day you get scouted on the tube and thrown head first into a full-time modelling career, but that's exactly what happened to Georgia, and with her gorgeous features and ever-optimistic attitude, it's easy to see why she's made it such a success. We asked her 10 questions about her new life as a full time model.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
I’m 21 years young. I’m half English and half Italian.
What inspired you to become a model?
I think it’s just one of those jobs that everybody wants right?!
My first shoot was with an amazingly talented fashion designer who spotted me on the tube in London. I then got the buzz for it and quit my 9-5 job to start modelling properly and I’m so glad I did. What a year it has been!
What is your best beauty secret?
Get as much sleep as possible!!! it may be a very simple “beauty secret” but it’s a must! 😂
Name 3 things that are always in your bag:
I mean, 3 things? More like 10! Ok my top 3 will have to be my phone, hair brush and Carmex :)
If you could live anywhere in the world, where?
I think it would have to be Australia. Although I’ve never been, I’m pretty certain I’d love the lifestyle. The constant sunshine, the beaches, the chilled out vibe... Someone recently described Australia as “London but with sunshine” which sounds perfect to me!
Fave food?
Got to be a Sunday roast dinner. You can’t beat a cheeky roast!
What do you do in your spare time?
Being self employed unfortunately involves a lot of admin, so I try to catch up on that when I have work free days. I also (try) to go to the gym around 3 times a week - doesn’t always happen though!
Tell us about your favourite modelling job so far!
Probably has to be an NYC campaign for Jet2. We shot on the runway at Stansted airport and the photographer got 2 pilots involved. They were hanging out of the cockpit windows with an American flag in their hands. Pretty sure the plane was full of people too... 😂 never a dull moment in this industry!
Which spice girl are you?
Believe it or not I’d actually say Sporty Spice! I’m a bit of a tom boy at heart 🤷🏽♀️
Any tips for someone getting into the industry?
Always make the most of the very few minutes you have with the casting director and show them your personality! I go to castings and see too many girls not saying a word because they believe their portfolio alone will get them the job. Who’s going to remember you if you don’t make a good first impression?!
